Our client, a pet store chain owner, contacted us to create a runner game with Unity. The game was part of a loyalty program and aimed to attract new clientele and increase the pet store’s customer loyalty. The game was primarily targeted at mothers. Keeping the target audience in mind was essential to make a runner game to help our client reach their business goals.

Design

The essence of the game is to help a kitty go through adventures and deal with bullies in various environments. While gaming, players can accumulate chips and increase one’s ratings among players. As the runner game development was a part of the loyalty program, collected in-game bonuses can be exchanged for discounts and used to pay for actual in-store purchases.

Features

Features

  • The user doesn’t have to sign up: Firebase pulls information from the AppStore and Play Market, so all the user has to do is download the game, click “start,” and play.
  • The game features a variety of game effects, including blows and other things, as well as levels with “boss” logic at the end. Depending on their amount of HP, “bosses” have varied behaviors, and defeating them requires the player to advance through numerous levels.

  • The game has a leveling system. Each level takes place in a different location. For instance, in the kitchen or laboratory.
  • Also, the game has a leader board. After completing a level, a player receives scores. The players who gain the highest scores can compete for the leadership of a day, week, or month.
  • Every brilliant idea is born in drafts. The client provided our development team with a pencil-drawn runner game design. Also, the request for design was to make it resemble the store’s brand design.

The company delivered custom mobile game development services that met the client’s requirements, and the game was dropped onto the stores. The game turned out to be fun and engaging. Players can collect real-value bonuses while having fun.
