Coloring book app is a social project featuring characters with
different disabilities.
While traditional coloring books show the perfect images, our client wanted to make a coloring book app that will show the little ones they are not alone and normalize seeing disabled kids among others.
The solution and the features described in the case study can be implemented to make your own coloring book app.
Since the app was purposed for kids, bright colors and the simplest layout were chosen to create a coloring book app.
Also, the navigation was made very simple through intuitive, large-sized, and bright buttons.
We set the goal to make the kids’ experience of painting via the coloring book app as much exciting and enjoyable as possible.
The opening toolbar resembles opening the pencil case. The items are hued and located in a user-friendly way.
The toolbar contains drawing tools, a color palette, and an eraser. By tapping on the drawing tool or color palette, a wide selection of choices is opened to make the painting more fun.
The paintings are saved and stored in the app. If a kid wants to re-color a certain picture, they may find the desired painting in history.
Now, the coloring book app gives an unknown-before experience of painting.
